Small-scale mixing (Plasticoder Lab Station)
Detect the melting torque of the polymer under dynamic conditions and measure the melting viscosity, temperature, and shear stability.
The Plasthograph developed by Brabender (Germany) allows for the evaluation of the effects of a sample's chemical composition, physical structure, temperature, and shear changes on polymer viscosity by measuring the melt viscosity and temperature, as well as shear rate stability, under dynamic conditions relevant to actual production processing. The mixer (55cc) is standard for thermoplastic resin types and can accommodate rubber, elastomers, and thermosetting resins by exchanging the cam blade. Additionally, the latest model of the Plasthograph has upgraded the mixer capacity (supporting three levels of capacity).
